Building the foundation for brand consistency

Following the Redis rebrand, the company needed a unified system to ensure consistency across marketing, product, and event design. My goal was to create a scalable design framework that empowered teams to deliver cohesive, on-brand work efficiently across all channels.

The challenge

It was critical to make sure the Redis rebrand was tight in every aspect the brand touched. Before rollout, we identified the need for a robust design system that would prevent inconsistencies from arising as the new identity was adopted across teams. The challenge was to create flexible, easy-to-use frameworks that preserved quality and alignment across all design and marketing outputs while ensuring every touchpoint launched with cohesion from day one.

The solution

I developed a comprehensive design ecosystem that lived across Figma, InDesign, and Splash. It included event landing page templates with reusable content blocks for marketers, presentation templates with standardized tables and charts, and product graphics systems for electronic publications. I also built refined icon libraries, UI components, and style libraries that established a single source of truth. The system streamlined workflows, reduced repetitive production, and enabled teams to maintain brand consistency with confidence.

Process & Impact

Design Approach

Built adaptable systems across Figma, InDesign, and Splash. Partnered with designers, marketers, and developers to create flexible templates and components that balanced structure with creativity for brand consistency.

Results

Launched the design system before the rebrand rollout, giving teams a ready-made framework. Unified workflows, accelerated production, and ensured every deliverable reflected the same cohesive brand experience.

Lessons Learned

Strong systems prevent problems before they happen. By anticipating needs early, the brand launched with consistency and clarity, letting teams focus on creativity instead of cleanup.

Executive Summary

The Redis Design System streamlined workflows by establishing shared frameworks. Built ahead of the brand rollout, it introduced reusable templates, scalable components, and unified assets that improved efficiency, accelerated production, and maintained brand consistency across every digital touchpoint.
